The mount position is one of the most aggressive positions in jiu-jitsu. It can be used for many kinds of submissions. The most important thing while in mount position is to maintain the position and never lose it. To do this, you must first learn how to control it and prevent your opponent from escaping. Then, you can make him waste energy, inducing him to make a mistake and apply a submission. Alternatively you can move to back control as your opponent escapes.
