Lesson 10 Side control escape Part 1(全10本)

Lesson 10 Side control escape  Part 1

1. Elbow escape
2. Under hook escape
3. Crossover lift
4. Belly down escape
5. Overhead roll

When you are held in side control, it is difficult to attack your opponent from the bottom. Also, blindly flailing about will only waste your energy and give more  advantage to your opponent. In this position, you must first concentrate on defending against submissions, just as you would if you were held in the mount position. Then, when your opponent leaves an opening, you can escape by moving to the top position, transitioning to the guard position, or taking the back.
