Lesson 6 Side control Part 1全10本
1. Control （kneeling, twisting and sprawl base)
2. Cross body control, armlock (step over)
3. Americana armlock
4. Straight armlock (far side)
5. Mount transition (knee through)
Side control is an effective position to hold an opponent from the top. Several derivative forms exist, depending on how the upper body is positioned and how the legs are used. In Brazilian jiu-jitsu, we do not keep to one form, but rather change and control freely. In this lesson, you will first learn the 4 basic forms and how to switch between them. Then you will learn how to transition to submission and also the mount position that can be applied from each position.
